It's been a little while, hasn't it? Whoops. I've been quite busy of late, although not with the photographic projects I have on the table. Not only did my fiance and I go camping for four days, but somewhere along the line I turned over a year; I'm that much closer to the quarter-century mark. Huzzah for birthdays! :)
This Saturday, I will be attending a workshop in DC, presented by the super-talented Scott Church and hosted by the fantabulous Crucible. A good friend of mine will be going with me as model, so perhaps I'll have some good photos of him to share when I get back. I must remember to charge up all the batteries and take all of my equipment with.
My main computer is still not up - we have yet to replace the motherboard - but my lovely Kit has a spare external hard drive given to him from work. He'll be backing up his files and probably some (if not all) of mine before we decide to rip up motherboards.
The website will soon be undergoing further changes. I have decided that while I enjoy web design, I am not good enough to present myself the way I would prefer. I will likely be turning the reigns over to the lovely folks at BluDomain. They come rather well recommended by some professionals I am acquainted with, and what better way to spend some of my tax return/economic stimulus monies? Don't expect changes immediately; I'm hoping to get a few of the photographic projects done first so that I have some photos to load. But I do intend to do this soon, and the hosting may eventually move over to them as well, which means the blog might move again.
Updates will be forthcoming, though - never fear!
